I seem to remember reading about comparisons between movies that were stuck with R/NC-17 ratings and PG-13/R ratings, and how female orgasms almost always bumped up the rating, but male orgasms did not. (I think that was from This Film is Not Yet Rated…?) So, yeah, that’s probably entirely intentional.
